The Zeta Beta chapter at the University of Southern California has taken a great idea and turned it into one of the chapter's most valuable member benefits: networking. 

"We decided to send out a call to alumni asking if they'd be interested to come to a Career Day where you talk about your industry and how you got there," said Chapter Advisor Jerry Papazian, Southern California '74. 

Zeta Beta has been hosting an annual ATO Career Day for three years now. The response from undergraduates and alumni has been overwhelmingly positive. It answers one of the most basic questions of any undergraduate: what do I want to do after I graduate? 

"We have people that are in the entertainment industry, people that are entrepreneurs… engineers… consultants," said Alumni Relations Officer Derek Nielsen, Southern California '12. "Being able to kind of pick their brains about their various experiences, and how that would apply to me moving forward, was definitely very useful." 

"This is one of those experiences that reminds you, 'You know what? It's special to reconnect with these guys,'" said Blaine Rominger, Southern California '80. 

"You can do these [events]," said KNBC-TV Weathercaster Carl Bell, Southern California '81. "They're so easy, and they're fun. It's reconnecting."
