In 2001, Alpha Zeta at Mercer was rechartered after about a five year hiatus from campus. This past weekend, we held a banquet to celebrate almost eleven years of being Rechartered. Since our rechartering, we have been named True Merit multiple times, including being a Top Ten chatper in 2011. We have won Mercer's Top Chapter award, Scholarship Bowl, Intramural Cup, and more multiple times. In all, Alpha Zeta has grown steadily into the best fraternity at Mercer, and this event was meant to celebrate that success.
But, despite our trophies and awards, the overarching theme of our banquet was friendship. Over 100 Alumni and guests reminisced about the bonds and friendships Alpha Zeta has fostered. Our program for the night included the chapters first two post-rechartering Presidents, including a past ATO Leadership Consultant, another influential member of the rechartering, and Matthew Stark--a current ATO Consultant.
