Beginning October 14, 2011 the Kappa Iota chapter packed up some camping gear and stayed at a Lake Waccamaw campground.  Most were in attendance, including most of the pledges and even some alumni.  It was the paradigm of a meaningful brotherhood bonding experience, most notably between brothers who had not gotten to know each other as well as they would like, and between members and the pledges, reaffirming our decisions to giving these outstanding men bids. Fun was had by all; we were sad when it was over and immediately wanted to repeat it again in the form of another signature Kappa Iota retreat.
