Chapter: Ball State

Category: Campus Involvement
Ball State University recently concluded the traditional fall recruitment season. The brothers of Theta Alpha were extremely active participating in campus information sessions and hosting four events each week since the beginning of school. A total of 44 men interacted with an ATO brother at some activity throughout the recruitment time.

“Recruitment campus wide has been better this year than in any in recent history. It certainly has been for us,” said Chapter President Colin Warner.

The Ball State Taus do not just rely on Interfraternity Council sponsored activities or traditional recruitment events. Recruitment is a priority throughout the year. Brothers dine together in one of the residence halls each week and invite others to join to get a chance to meet other brothers and learn about ATO. Brothers also participate in group study sessions and various sporting events throughout each week in hopes to build brotherhood both in strength and size.

“We are constantly looking for quality men to join ATO,” said Recruitment Chairman Cameron Molnar. “We have so many events throughout the week in order to find the most outstanding men that fit in with our brotherhood.”

The back-to-school / fall recruitment period resulted in 19 invitation bids being distributed and 19 bids were accepted. The chapter plans to continue recruiting throughout the semester and distribute bids one more time.
