The Ball State Taus continue their winning ways of Greek-sponsored events on campus walking away with the Pi Beta Phi Kick’s for Kids Kick Ball Tournament trophy on November 20, 2011.

Proceeds from the event went to First Book. First Book provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy – access to books. First Book has distributed more than 85 million free and low cost books in thousands of communities.

The Taus won a two-bracket kickball tournament. There was a regular bracket and a “Toilet Bowl” bracket for the teams after they are eliminated from the regular bracket. The winning Tau team consisted of Chad Huffman, Richard Velde, Spencer Conner, Ken Meyers, Aaron Daeger, Ryan Kendrick, and Brad Spicer. In addition to the tournament victory, the Taus won the most brothers in attendance award and most money raised by an organization.
