This summer I strove to find a way to best utilize and improve all of the organizations housed in NKU's College of Business. For the past two years these various groups have had a major downturn in their membership and involvement numbers, so we all were looking for an avenue to recharge the groups. I came up with the idea to have a President's Collaborative meeting once a month where ideas could be shared and information regarding every groups meetings could be spread thereby creating a nice work environment to allow all of us to improve as organizations. The first meeting went swimmingly and this group is going to do great things. The best part about this is that the groups now have avenues to other organizations to let them know when they are bringing in guest speakers, which will undoubtedly increase attendance tremendously.
