Two members of our most recent pledge class, Bryce Bolack and Hunter Heinrich, were recently accepted onto the Freshman Representative Council, which is the student government for the freshman body. Of the 400 applicants, only 100 were interviewed, and fifty were accepted. Members of FRC learn about all aspects of student government, sponsor and participate in community service projects, and develop various student-oriented activities. The Freshman Representative Council plays a vital role within the Student Government Association by voicing concerns pertaining to the freshman class as well as contributing to the campus and community through philanthropy events.
Last year we only had one guy on FRC, so it's great to see us increase that number, and see the improvement in our chapter.
