The Ball State Taus kicked off their 'Week of Service' initiative this past weekend with a campus cleanup following the Cardinals’ first home football game.
Twenty-five brothers divided into four teams to walk through the entire campus for two hours collecting 20 bags of trash.
“I decided that the first home game of the season would be the ideal event to kick off our week of service around. Most people come out to the first game. We knew there would be plenty of trash with game’s turnout,” said Social Service Chair Keegan Jiles. “We had a fantastic turnout and received a lot of positive feedback from the chapter about the service and brotherhood. I am looking forward to setting up our next major service project.”
Ball State brothers have committed to completing a minimum of 40 hours of service, a week of work, this academic year with an overall chapter minimum goal of 2,000 hours of service.
