The men of the Gamma Upsilon Chapter were extremely busy this weekend participating in the Iowa State University Dance
Marathon. Dance Marathon is a yearly event where people who raise $250 or more: stand, dance, play games, and hangout with children for 15 hours. This money helps support the patients and parents that are treated at University of Iowa Childrens Hospital through the Children's Miracle Network.
The men of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity had the goal of having the most money raised out of all the greek chapters. They did this by raising $8,136.00 and sending 48 participants (only 4 last year). The night got better as the men of Alpha Tau Omega won the Dance Marathon Olympics. Overall, this event was an eye opening experience to see these kids everyday struggles.
