Recently, the pledges of the Delta Alpha pledge class went through their help weekend. With a weekend full of community service, everyone was looking forward to getting out and giving back to the community; however, as Saturday rolled around, the weather turned foul. It rained almost the entire weekend on everyone out helping, but that didn't slow us down one bit. We went out to a local neighborhood and cut down 8 trees for an elderly man, stacking and dragging the cut down timbers into piles on a local lot. After that, the group went down to the local rescue missions and helped out in any way we could. Several men rose to the challenge of leading, and helped solidify the future for Theta Pi.
