Oct 3rd, we had our first large, public, philanthropy event. It was an open mic and dance benefiting Main Street Mission, a local homeless aide, which was very successful. It was an open event where anyone could come and sing and play on stage while we accepted monetary and canned food donations at the door. We literally ran out of seating for people and had to pull out folding chairs so that everyone could have a seat. Over $100 was raised along with many canned food items. Everyone that came had a great time and was talking about how great it was the next day!
