This past Sunday, Theta Omega hosted the brand new event called the Greek Olympiad. It was a huge success as the $400 raised was given to the Special Olympics, which is a very worthy cause.  The Greek Olympiad is a new yearly event that consists of various athletic competitions.  The events included throughout the day were as follows: the swim relay, pull-up and push-up contests, thumb wrestling, fencing, the long jump, the world cup soccer tournament, the land relay race, the javelin toss, the discus throw, and an obstacle infused piggy-back race.  Everyone had a great time at this event as various sororities and fraternities competed for the golden fraternity hammer and sorority shield. Our very own Alpha Tau Omega team brought home the golden hammer and Delta Zeta put up a great fight to win the golden shield. We look forward to see how this event will progress and improve in the upcoming year!
