At North Alabama, this year's Valhalla philanthropy is Caring for the Pride. On April 27, 2011, tornadoes ravaged the state of Alabama. In the response to this natural disaster, UNA starting a foundation to raise money to help support those who lost their homes and loved ones. At Valhalla, all the money made was donated to Caring for the Pride. Though the tornadoes are over, the harsh effects of them are still very real to many across the state. Hopefully by our actions and the hearts of others, those effected by this tragedy will make it through easier now.
