On November 14, 2011 Lander University intramural indoor soccer championship game was held in the school's gym and produced two teams that were in the final game in 2010. Tau Kappa Epsilon and Alpha Tau Omega had defeated the competition to make it to the championship game once again.
It was a hard fought contest with the game rolling down to the final five minutes our President of Iota Beta pressed down the court to score the games first goal but, moments later giving up the tieing score. With the game tied at 1-1 the game got more physical with both teams wanting the win. The last two minutes of play ATO passed the ball all around the court to create an opening for a possible score and was successful in doing so. With 40 seconds to go ATO held the ball for the finial win.
After the game we slapped hands with the other team and then the brothers circled around to shout the ATO chant proudly with the trophy and a back to back championship year in indoor soccer. We will be shooting for a three peat next year.
