Taus Face Off In Intramural Quickball
Chapter: Oklahoma State

Last Sunday night, two teams of ATOs faced off in the opening game of the Quickball season.  Quickball is a sport similar to baseball, played with a whiffle ball and a shorter field.  ATO Gold, captained by Brother Schnautz, led off the first inning with seven runs.  The other ATO team, captained by Brother Gonzales, was held scoreless in the first inning. They scored one run in the second, and came roaring back to take an 11-7 lead in the third.  Heading into the last inning, ATO Gold tied it up at 11, and would have had more if a grand slam would have stayed fair.  In the bottom of the last inning, ATO Gold walked off with the win on a ground rule double.

It was a well-fought game, even though everyone was able to joke around.  It was a great sign of our strong brotherhood, that we can compete against each other, and at the end of the day still have a strong brotherhood.  The best part was that the majority of the house was there to support their brothers.  It's going to be an exciting season, as both teams should make the playoffs this year.
