Every year in remembrance of our rechartering, the new members/pledges spend some time doing some soul searching as to what it means to be an ATO and a part of Alpha Zeta's chapter. This "Petition Night" allows the group to work together on some questions that we, the brothers, have given them in advance. Through these questions, they explain how they feel they will fit in the chapter, what they feel they can bring to the chapter, and some good memories from pledgeship. It is a great night that really reinforces all of the ideas and morals behind ATO and lets them marinate on it again. It is a great night that lets the active brothers also reflect on what ATO means to them and how they have impacted the chapter.
