The members of the Eta Kappa chapter at UNM
strive to succeed in their pursuit of academic excellence. Recently four
brothers have been recognized in the Who’s
Who Among American Colleges and Universities leadership program. To be
awarded this honor a student must have a high GPA with above sixty credit
hours, active community involvement, and finally leadership potential.
Brothers Dylan Hoffman, Matthew Liguori, Matthew Montoya, and Sunny Liu have been
awarded scholarships to the program. Brother Hoffman served as the President of
Alpha Tau Omega from March 2011 to December 2012. He plans on studying law
post-graduation. Matt Liguori is the current ATO president, and is in charge of
IFC recruitment. He is studying Political Science and Economics. Liguori’s
dream is to one day become a Press Secretary for the president. Matt Montoya is
the chapter’s current Member Ed chairman, and is studying Criminology and
Political Science. Brother Montoya wants to pursue a career as either a
politician or lawyer. In addition to academics and ATO Montoya also is the
executive director for the Community Experience (CE). Sunny Liu is our current
scholarship chairman, and an ASUNM (Student Government) senator. Brother Liu is an accounting major.
The brothers of the Eta Kappa chapter congratulate these brothers in both their
academic achievements, and career goals. The chapter can assure more members
will be recognized by the Who’s Who program as soon as they are qualified.
