Each year a group of dedicated Ball State students apply to be members of
the Homecoming Steering Committee and perform various duties to make
Homecoming at Ball State a success. Planning begins the spring semester
before and continues through the fall.

The committee works tirelessly to make sure every homecoming event runs
smoothly and is a blast for the student body, as well as the alumni.

The 2011 Homecoming Steering Committee Student Organizations & Greek
Relations Chairman is ATO's Chad Griewank.

"The experience I've gained from being on the Homecoming committee is
invaluable," said Griewank. "The amount of time we put into it is intense
but the payoff is definitely worth every minute. It's amazing to see
everything we've planned happening this week. The feeling of knowing that we
did this and I was a part of it is like nothing else."

Theta Alpha is extremely proud of Chad's work to help plan a great week of
Homecoming 2011 activities.

Chad also serves at the President Pro-Tempore of Ball State's Student
Government Association and was an orientation leader this past summer.
