Brothers have an opportunity to Co-op with ADTRAN for Spring 2012
Chapter: Alabama-Huntsville
Poster: Cody Gothart (Ugrad)

Category: Personal Achievement
Just recently brothers James and Jarrod Parkes were offered Co-op positions with ADTRAN (Advanced Transmission), a telecommunications company located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama. ADTRAN is the world's second largest supplier of telecommunication equipment (just behind Cisco) and Huntsville also houses the second largest research park in the United States. Statistics like that are what makes the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) such a desirable  place to attend college and the brothers of Theta Pi take advantage of it. As of the past two semesters, our chapter has had 10+ brothers participate in the Co-op program with businesses throughout the Huntsville area. By coincidence, it just happens that both brothers are working in a group at ADTRAN with former Theta Pi Alpha Tau Omega Chapter President Josh Langford (2006). It's a small world!  James and Jarrod are both Computer Science majors and currently in their junior year at UAH.
