Last week before the Thanksgiving break, Kappa Beta played for the Intramural Soccer Championship game for Fraternities. The game was a rematch of an overtime thriller with Pi Kappa Phi in which Kappa Beta lost just two week prior. After a hard fought 1-1 tie in the mud, the game once again went into overtime with Kappa Beta coming out on top this time in a 2-1 penalty kick shootout. Kappa Beta finished the season with an impressive 5-2 record (3 shutouts) while outscoring opponents 16-5. This is impressing taking in to account that Kappa Beta finished last place in last years tournament while only scoring 3 goals. Winning the soccer tournament gives Kappa Beta their second intramural championship (other being football) this year among fraternities.
