I've always enjoyed reading and always wondered what it would be like to write my own book. I made the decision at the beginning of the year to make it happen. Over the past months I have slowly made time and am finally finished with my first novel. I couldn't have done it without the help of my amazing wife (former ATO sweetheart) and with the encouragement of my brothers. I've created a blog so people can follow along as I gave writing a shot.
I'm sharing this with ATO because I remember sitting around with brothers in Waffle House at 2:00 in the morning and talking about movies and books. Several brothers encouraged me to start reading when I first got to college and it quickly became a great hobby for me. Our chapter passed around books from John Maxwell and C.S. Lewis to even Harry Potter (I never read those books). It was a great way to encourage personal growth among all of us and definitely assisted in my leadership development. I know wouldn't be where I am today without this fraternity and my brothers. This is just one more piece of evidence to confirm that belief.
