Recently, Brother Ryan Lester was asked to join the Oklahoma State Rugby Club.  There are close to 40 players in the club, with 20 guys who get significant playing time, including Brother Lester.  The Rugby Club travels around the Big 12 area, playing rugby clubs at other schools, such as University of Oklahoma and Kansas State University.  Ryan plays the positions of prop and break, which are two forward positions that focus on stopping the ball and scoring.  Most recently, the Rugby Club played against UCO, winning the game 32-10.  Ryan scored 2 tries, for a total of 10 points, one of which was from 60 yards!  They will be traveling to Manhattan, Kansas for their next match against Kansas State University.

"Rugby is a great outlet for me to physically stay in shape, and allows me to legally be violent and brutal.  I like to put the team on my back," Lester joked. "But seriously, it's a great opportunity for me, and really helps me focus on my academic career as well.  I'm glad I can represent ATO on campus in a positive light."
