Last wednesday we had our official pinning ceremony for the pledges. The whole brotherhood attended as our president and chaplain ran the show. Following tradition, we performed the swearing-in ceremony, the new members officially pledging themselves to us. Each pledge was then given their pledge pin from their big brother. It is something we have always done, a way of adding meaning to our acceptance of them. They know the pledge process won't be easy, but I think we have a really great group of guys this year. I would be proud to call each and every one of them brother once we teach them what it means to be a family here at the Tau house.
