Kappa Iota pinned 13 new pledges, roughly half of the new incoming recruits on September 11. Founding father and alumnus Adam Hall became emotional after the ceremony and acknowledged how much Kappa Iota has grown in the past 3 years.  

"This is awesome," Hall said.  "I'm getting teary-eyed just thinking about it. It's difficult to put into words the lasting impact joining this fraternity will have on your life."  

The official pledge pinning for all the new pledges will occur at the UNCW Parent's & Families' Weekend this Saturday, September 24.
