Wynn Smiley joined the ATO National Staff in January of 1991 as the Director of Communications. In 1997, Wynn was named executive director of the fraternity. In 1999, Wynn became the Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Tau Omega. Wynn is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the National Headquarters staff and fraternity affairs.

Wynn graduated from the University of Illinois in 1983. From 1982 to 1999 he worked as a producer and reporter for WCIA Channel 3 in Champaign, IL. Wynn also moderated the Illinois Journal, a political, television talk show.

As an undergraduate at the University of Illinois, Wynn was initiated into Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and after being named ATO’s Executive Director, was honorary initiated into Alpha Tau Omega by Purdue’s Indiana Gamma Omicron chapter.

Wynn is the executive producer of ATO Roadshow with special responsibilities in production editing, published media and staff incorporation.
